“Strengthening Indiana’s Health and Life Science Sector”

2008 Sponsorship Target: $300,000

The Indiana Health Industry Forum (IHIF) provides coordination and support to Indiana’s health and life science business community. IHIF is a membership based organization that operates like a chamber of commerce. The Forum represents almost 200 companies and organizations involved in the life sciences in Indiana. Since 1994, IHIF has played an important role in the growth of the state’s life science economy, including driving passage of the 21st Century Research and Technology Fund. In 2008, the Forum is planning a number of events intended to address important competitive issues, explore our capabilities, and promote Indiana’s outstanding asset base.

As a not-for-profit organization, program funding is critical to providing the outreach, education, and networking services IHIF members, and the industry-at-large, enjoy each year. Historically, the Forum has sought sponsorship for individual events and continues to offer support options around specific conferences and meetings. In 2008, IHIF has also created a comprehensive program sponsorship package designed to provide recognition of supporters at IHIF events and activities throughout the year – maximizing sponsor participation and exposure.

Some of the programs we have planned for 2008 include:

  • Annual Members Meeting
  • Innovention Conference
  • Cancer/Oncology Research Summit (#3 in a series)
  • Life Science Luncheon Monthly Series
In total, program sponsors will be recognized at four major conferences and up to 23 smaller events and be visible throughout the year on our new website and the Forum Focus, a members-only newsletter. Sponsors are encouraged to participate in and contribute expertise to IHIF - networking with industry experts from academic, government, and private organizations. The programming presented by IHIF provides a direct link to decision makers and leaders of the companies, universities, and hospitals that directly impact this sector.

Sponsorship is critical for IHIF to deliver the programming outlined above. We would encourage you to become a program sponsor or explore opportunities around specific events. We would be pleased to work with you to identify a level that best meets your company’s support objectives. The attached sponsorship categories describe specific benefits to your business.

We hope that we can count on your support of this important and dynamic organization.

Please Note: Sponsorship applies to one business entity only.
