Industry Advocacy and Public Policy Analysis

 The Indiana Health Industry Forum provides guidance and leadership on public policy issues that contribute to innovation in the health science sector, deliver therapies to patients in need, and further the development and growth of our member companies.  IHIF works at the federal and state level and partners with several other organizations and groups to support specific initiatives and legislation.

  • Dangers of Drug Importation/Counterfeit Drugs
  • Full Funding of the NIH and FDA as agreed in 21st Century Cures Act

  • Clean Renewal of MDUFA/PDUFA and other User Fee Agreements with FDA

  • Annual Legislative Breakfast Briefing
Co-hosted with IMDMC and Hoosiers Work for Health, this event centers on bringing matters of industry interest to the attention of state legislators.  Member companies are encouraged to invite their legislators to attend with themIHIF members are welcome to participate in this annual fly-in program which includes a legislative briefing, reception, and day of meetings with Indiana legislators on Capitol Hill.
